Vishwas files complaint against Zee News anchor

Senior AAP leader Kumar Vishwas filed a complaint at Patel Nagar police station in Central Delhi, on Monday, urging the police to register an FIR against the owner, editor and senior anchor-cum-producer of a popular TV news channel for allegedly <g data-gr-id="20">relaying</g> defamatory contents and misinterpreted information intending to harm his reputation.

In his complaint, numbered 4213 filed at around 2.30 pm, addressed to the concerned SHO, Vishwas claimed that the news channel fabricated news articles and debates in connection with the suicide of a farmer at the Jantar Mantar protest venue on April 22. 

He alleged that the visible representation of the news content was misinterpreted by aptly inserting insensitive phrases like ‘latak <g data-gr-id="13">gaya</g>’ (he is hanged) allegedly to defame Vishwas and support BJP. 
He also mentioned about the phrase ‘besharam <g data-gr-id="15">siyasatdar</g>’ (shameless politicians) allegedly used to addressed AAP members by the anchor-cum-producer.
