Owing to the intense cold weather, the district administrations of Gautam Buddh Nagar and Ghaziabad have ordered closure of all schools up to Class VIII for two and three days respectively. All government and private schools in both the districts will remain closed on January 20 and 21 while schools in Ghaziabad will be closed between January 20 and 22. Gautam Budh Nagar district magistrate N P Singh passed the order for closure of schools in the district. “Management of schools of all the boards in Noida and Greater Noida have been directed to close the schools due to intense cold for two days,” said a senior administrative official.
