Months after implementing ‘citizen charter’, the Noida Authority on Friday launched online citizen charter mobile app. The authority launched the app aiming to provide services to the mobile users. The move follows the launch of 152 online citizen services across 12 departments this August.
Chairman and CEO of both Noida and Greater Noida Authority, Rama Raman, while launching the app, said that people of the city will get benefitted. “The citizen charter will be displayed outside every department of the Noida Authority. As per the charter, no work will be hauled up with any officer for more than seven working days. The charter includes a list of services to be provided to the common man and the time frame within which they need to be completed,” said Raman.
Suparna Systems, a Bangalore-based company that has designed the app, says, users can download it from Google Play Store on Android phones. Satish Kumar, CEO of the company said that the people can take the photograph of any civic problem and can directly send it to Noida Authority officials by using this mobile app.
The app immediately responds to the sender through an SMS about the status. He said that they would launch on other mobile platforms too.
