Update: 2016-07-01 00:41 GMT
Months after the kidney transplant racket in Indraprastha Apollo Hospital was busted, the doctors including the senior nephrologists and the members of Hospital Internal Authorization Committee are likely to be summoned by the SIT, official sources said. The sources further told Millennium Post that Dr Ashok Sarin, senior nephrologist had returned to Delhi from the US. Recently he had returned and had resumed his work. It is worth mentioning that two secretarial staff of Ashok Sarin, Aditya Singh and Shailesh Saxena (the duo already arrested) were helping the touts in getting the files cleared from the committee. One more personal secretary of another nephrologist was also arrested.

The committee includes hospital doctors (who were not part of the surgery), independent doctors and a government doctor. According to sources, before booking the members of the committee and the doctors under the charges of negligence and relevant sections of Transplant of Human Organ Act (THOA), the SIT is likely quiz them in the next week.
