Delhi Jal Board claimed that Board is putting in hard efforts to provide piped water supply to all the residents of Delhi. Dwarka Water Treament Plant is being commissioned on 16 February.
According to DJB, the residents of the command areas such as Dwarka sub-city, Bindapur area, Nazirpur, Mahavir Enclave, Chankya Place Part-2, Madhu Vihar, Raja Puri, Uttam Vihar, Bhagwati Vihar, Sanjay Enclave , ABCD and B Vihar etc. will be benefitted from the service. Delhi Jal Board is making all out efforts to flush and clean water lines and filtered water will be allowed to be released for human consumption only after water is found fit as per the prescribed standards. However, Delhi Jal Board will release water for consumers only after testing of water from the laboratory.
