New Delhi: An 81-year-old woman was murdered by her daughter in West Delhi's Hari Nagar area. Police have arrested the accused who had killed her mother by hitting on her head.
The reason behind the incident was a quarrel on the petty issue. According to police on November 2, an information was received at the Mayapuri police station through PCR call in which caller told them that a lady was sitting in front of a residence in Delhi Cantt who has an injury on her head.
Police personnel reached the spot and found that a lady identified as Neeru Bagga (47) was sitting there. She was in a hysterical state and unable to speak properly.
The police staff consoled Neeru and tried to calm her. "Neeru stated that she stays along with her mother namely Santosh Bagga in Hari Nagar. She had a quarrel with her mother and Neeru hit her mother on the head and left the house," police said.
Later the police staff reached the place of incidence in Hari Nagar along with Neeru. On the instance of Neeru, police staff entered the house and found the body of an old lady lying in a pool of blood with injuries on her body. The deceased was identified as Santosh Bagga (81).
Police further said that at the house, the blood-stained clothes of the accused Neeru were also found which are seized and taken into possession.
After that case under section 302 (murder) of IPC was registered at Hari Nagar police station. Later the accused Neeru Bagga was arrested.
