New Delhi: A 26-year-old woman with the help of her paramour killed her husband and his brother who was opposing her relationship. The arrest was made on Sunday from Gautam Budh Nagar area. The accused were identified as Mohit Bhati (29) and the woman aged 26 Years. On June 23 , one of the deceased Manoj Kumar went to bring RO drinking water from a house in Ghazipur. When he did not return until one hour, his wife went to see him, where she saw that her husband was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Police were informed and a murder case was registered.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Pankaj Singh stated that on investigation, Mohit was nabbed and he told the investigators that about one year ago, he used to live in Dadri. His friend Mukesh Kumar (brother of deceased Manoj Kumar) also used to live nearby his house along with his family. Later on, Mukesh Kumar became his friend and he started to go to his house.
"During the course of time, he started to talk to the woman, wife of Mukesh Kumar and became friends with her. Later they developed an intimate relationship. After some time, the relationship came into notice of Mukesh Kumar who started beating his wife who made complaints to Mohit," said the DCP. He further added that on this issue, he along with his associate took Mukesh Kumar from his house on some pretext and later killed him on Dadri Railway Line. In this regard, a missing report was lodged at Dadri police station.
Police claimed that thereafter, Manoj Kumar (brother of deceased Mukesh Kumar) brought his sister-in-law to Delhi and started to live in Ghazipur. During this time Mohit came and met Pooja at this place. "Manoj Kumar knew about the relationship of the woman with Mohit and he used to tease her. She again made complaints to accused. Both made a plan to kill him and on June 23 , Mohit Bhati came to Gazipur and shot Manoj Kumar dead," said the DCP.
