New Delhi: A two years old girl was kidnapped by two persons in South West Delhi's Palam village. Police have arrested the accused and safely rescued the child from Nilothi Extension. One of the accused was not having a child even after six years of his marriage. So to fulfil the child desire of his wife and mother, he committed the crime.
Police identified the accused as Virender Kumar Dutt (36) and Nikhil Choudhary (21). On November 23, the victim was kidnapped by the accused on the motorcycle. Deputy Commissioner of Police (south-west) Devender Arya said that Dutt was nabbed from the area of Chander Vihar in Nilothi Extension and the kidnapped girl child was also safely rescued from the residence of Dutt. The other accused Choudhary was nabbed from Palam Village area.
"Virender Dutt (mastermind) met the second accused on Online platform and lured him with a cash amount of Rs 1 lakh," said DCP Arya adding, Rs 5000 was given as an advance to Choudhary. The motive behind the conspiracy was Nikhil's frustration with his own life, as he was not having a child even after 6 years of his marriage. "He even made a fake certificate of child adoption in the name of an ashram situated in Gurugram to mislead state machinery as well as his family," police said.
