Third phase campaign: Kejriwal to hold 7 roadshows in Delhi

NEW DELHI: To begin from Model Town at 4 pm on May 1, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will conduct road shows in all 7 Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi from May 1-8. The party will not hold any big rally but only focus on road shows.

"Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to lead the third phase of campaigns of the AAP in Delhi. He will hold seven roadshows across Delhi. This will start from Model Town on May 1 and complete on May 8 with a roadshow at Moti Nagar," said AAP Delhi convenor Gopal Rai.

He also said in the second phase of the campaign the AAP did door to door campaign. This started from March 10 and continued till April 25. "We have received a good response from the people and also we have reached out to nearly 35 lakh voters through this campaign," said Rai.

Similarly, the party has assigned different leaders to different constituencies. Rai said that Gopal Rai himself will look into the North East Delhi, Manish Sisodia will look after East Delhi, Chandi Chowk will be looked after by Satyendar Jain and Imran Hussain, Rajendra Pal Gautam will look after North West Delhi, Sanjay Singh will handle the campaigns in South Delhi and in New Delhi N D Gupta will look after the campaigns.

The campaigns will also take place at the Vidhan Sabha level. led by the MLAs where the tag line would be "Jhadu Chalao Purna Rajya Banao". on 9 and 10 of May the final level of the campaign will take place which is yet to decide by the party. However, the sources said that national leaders like West Bengal chief Mamata Banerjee and Andhra Chief Chandra Babu Naidu are likely to campaign for the AAP.
