New Delhi: SDMC Mayor Narendera Chawla on Friday inaugurated newly constructed double storey Community Hall at Milap Nagar. The spacious hall has been constructed over an area of 620 square meters and its structure is RCC earthquake resistant. The ground floor as well as first floor both has one hall, on bridal room, toilet each. It has been constructed with Rs 99 lakh. Further, it has adequate arrangements for 24x7 electricity and water supply. The vast open area can accommodate more invitees in the community hall.
Speaking on the occasion, Chawla stated that SDMC has been constructing more community halls under its jurisdiction with an aim to provide space for the social events including marriages at affordable rates. The new
permanent property in the form of community hall is going to benefit a large number of families.
