New Delhi: South Delhi Municipal Corperation (SDMC) on Friday issued 189 challans in Delhi amounting to more than 2 lakh.
"SDMC has intensified its action against violators of NGT norms and SWM bye laws as level of air pollution in the city is getting worst resulting in toxic elements in environment. Patrolling teams has been constituted to take action against the violators around the clock," said a statement by SDMC.
In all, total 189 challans amounting to Rs. 2,52,400 were issued in four zones.
