New Delhi: Delhi Police will now be examining the contents of two registers that investigators found from the house where eleven persons were found dead in Sant Nagar area of Burari in north Delhi.

Police sources on Sunday claimed that till now, they have not found the involvement of any godman or guru behind the suspected suicide, but they will analyse the call details.

Sources in Delhi Police Crime Branch told Millennium Post they suspect that the Bhatia family had formed a suicide pact. "How they committed suicide is being investigated," said a source.

He further said that the handwriting in the registers will be examined and matched, so as to get details in the case.

The source added that the Crime Branch suspects that writing in the registers might be that of one of the deceased, but they are waiting for the investigation to be completed before making any comment.

"In the register, the topic of suicide was also mentioned," added the source. When asked whether there was any chemical substance found near the spot where the victims had killed themselves, an investigator stated they have not found anything on the spot nor in the kitchen.

The role of any godman or guru, who might have brainwashed the family, has not yet been ruled out.

However, neighbours of the victims claimed that they had never seen members of the family involving in any spiritual and mystic practices.

Soon after the news of murder broke down, more than 100 policemen, including 20 inspectors and eight assistant commissioners, started investigation.

Moreover, joint commissioners and deputy commissioners from other districts and the Crime Branch were seen at the spot to find clues and collect evidence.
