Ram Navami, Palm Sunday to make Delhi roads busy

New Delhi: Delhi would witness congestion at various routes on the occasion of Ram Navami on March 24 and Palm Sunday the next day, with religious procession being taken out in different parts of the Capital.
On March 24, around 1 pm, some organisations will carry out a procession from Ramlila Ground to Ram Vatika (Ajmal Khan Park), via Asaf Ali Road, Delhi Gate, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Fateh Puri Masjid, Qutub Road, Bara Tooti Chowk, Bara Hindu Rao and Rani Jhansi Road.
Around 2 pm, some other organisations will carry out a procession from Ramlila Ground Gate No 2 to Ghondli Chowk, near Sai Mandir in Krishna Nagar – via Hari Om Mandir Block-11, Gurudwara Karan Singh, Patparganj Road, Durga Mandir Subzi Mandi Kureji, Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Gurudwara Bhai Panchu Sahab, Block No. 8 Mahavir Mandir, Chhachi Building, Lal Quarter Krishna Nagar, Liberty Chowk and Anand Pur Charitable laboratory.
Meanwhile, on the occassion of Palm Sunday, prayers and processions will be carried out on March 25. Aroung 2.30 pm, Delhi Catholic Archdiocese, 1, Ashok Road, Delhi will carry out a procession from St. Mary's Church, Old Delhi to Sacred Heart Cathedral.
