One arrested for killing man over parking tiff

NEW DELHI: When 42 year-old Atul Kapoor beat up Shahid over a tiff on scooter parking in Tilak Nagar, little did he know that Shahid would nurture a grudge and will plan for a revenge killing. Police have now solved the mysterious murder within 24 hours with the arrest of Shahid.

Cops did gather some vital clue from the CCTV but couldn't identify the accused who was seen entering the park outside the victim's house. "Our team then concentrated over the mobile call records, we found a missed call on the deceased number and further investigation revealed that the location of the mobile was in Tilak Nagar area on the day of murder. This made the owner of the number a suspect," said DCP West Monika Bhardwaj.

Inquiry revealed that Shahid was nurturing grudge against the victim and was looking for an opportunity to strike. While waiting for Atul Kapoor in the park, he gave a missed call to him.

When Atul called back, he didn't pick up the call. Later, when the victim came to the park outside his house , Shahid attacked him and injured him badly.

The family found Atul in an injured condition and rushed him to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The incident was reported at around 11: 30 pm on

Thursday night when Atul Kumar was in the park just outside his house. Locals say that he maintained the park and was famous in the area as 'Pradhan'.
