Minor boy reunited with his family

New Delhi: The PCR unit of Delhi Police on Tuesday said that they have reunited a missing child with his parents in Safdarjung Enclave area.

According to police, on Tuesday, around 1.31 am, the PCR team received a call regarding the missing child in Gautam Nagar area in South. The staff reached the spot and met the caller. "The caller produced a boy aged 4- 5 years and informed us that there is no clue about the parents of the boy," a police official said.

DCP (PCR) Sharat Sinha said that the PCR staff took the boy in the MPV van and started searching his parents in nearby the locality in Gautam Nagar and surrounding area by announcing on PA System. "After hearing the information about missing boy on the PA system, one Anil met our staff and told them that he knows the parents of the missing boy," said Sinha.

Anil said the staff that the boy's mother is mentally ill whereas his father works as a labourer and they are residing at the pavement of Kamal Cinema. The staff immediately rushed there and started searching the parents by announcing on the PA System, suddenly one Sunny came to the police and identified the missing boy as his son.
