New Delhi: Housing and Urban Affairs Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri will lay the foundation of several developmental projects of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in Rohini on Monday.
The projects worth around Rs 540 crore includes a socio-cultural centre, sports complex, outfall drain, utsav pandal and seamless synthetic rubberised flooring at various parks. Socio-Cultural Centre at Sector 10 Rohini will be a centre of performing arts, indoor and outdoor recreational activities, mall, convention centre, among others. The project will cost around Rs 350 crore and is likely to be completed in the next 42 months. A sports
complex has also been proposed at Sector 33, Rohini. It will be a centre of excellence for aquatic and the target for completion of the projects is 24 months at a cost of about Rs 110 crore.
The proposed Utsav Pandal is slated to be built in Sector 24, Rohini with the cost of Rs 7.45 crore.
Besides, an outfall drain is also being built between Sector 24 and 25 linking two Supplementary drains at the cost of Rs 70 crore.
