NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police PCR united a 16 year old mentally challenged boy who went missing on June 8 at 4.50 PM, from JPN Hospital who had come there for treatment.
The PCR staff swung into action and immediately contacted the caller a, resident of UP.
The caller informed that he had come to JPN Hospital along with his younger brother, who is mentally unstable and is under treatment.
After consulting the doctor, the caller asked his brother to sit in the waiting hall and went to collect medicines.
As he came back, he did not find his brother. He made his best efforts to trace him, but was in vain.
Hence, he made a call at 100. After collecting all the relevant details from the caller, the PCR staff made efforts and traced out the missing boy.
Finally at around 6.30 pm they located the missing boy near Gandhi Smriti, Rajghat and handed him over to local police.
In the past too the PCR has united missing kids with their families in Delhi.
Children who went missing were traced by the alert PCR staff and handed over to tehi repective families.
