MCG to take over pvt colonies soon

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) will soon be taking over private colonies that include three phases of DLF city, Sushant Lok, and Palam Vihar.

 Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, in a meeting, stated that a time frame of May 15 to June 30 has been set for MCG to take over the colonies.

 The MCG, Gurugram town and country planning department and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) and the private builders will make an assessment of deficient infrastructure and maintenance cost for five years.

 The assessment of records will be the private builder's responsibility and also MCG will initiate road improvement works in the colonies. Among those present at the meeting included Principal Secretary to CM Rajesh Khullar, Director Town and Country planning department TL Satyaprakash and Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority V Umashankar.
