Manish Sisodia lauds DCPCR for working towards making parks safe

New Delhi: Due to the intervention of the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), parks in West Delhi are now safe for the children. Police have taken action against the people who were found drinking inside the parks.

The DCPCR was also applauded by Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. He tweeted," Congratulations team @DCPCR Safety for children and women is most important". Ranjana Prasad, member DCPCR took cognizance of news related parks of Nangal Raya becoming the hubs of drunkards. She wrote to the police about the issue. The city police in reply had taken action against anti-social elements.

Ranjana Prasad said, "Alcohol consumption is an offence in public places that too in a park, which should be safe and secured for the children of Delhi to play and grow."

A letter was written by Additional DCP (west) to DCPCR. It reads that all the beat staff have been sensitized about the issue and have been briefed to intensify patrolling in the area and take legal action against the offenders.
