New Delhi: A domestic dispute turned violent when a man was stabbed by his sons on Sunday at Sanjay Colony Bhati Mines, south Delhi.
The Delhi Police received the information about the incident through a PCR call at Maidangarhi Police Station.
The victim was identified as Dhara who has six children from his first wife and one child from his second. The PCR call was made by the second wife of the victim.
The accused were identified as Rinkesh (30) and Sagar (22) both residents of Sanjay Colony Bhati Mines, however, both the accused were living with their mother.
According to the police, the victim was visiting his first wife with his second at her residence, however, the victim had a quarrel with his sons, Rinkesh and Sagar, during the visit.
The dispute took a violent turn when one of his sons struck him on the head with a brick. Following the assault, both sons fled the scene.
The victim was immediately attended to by police personnel who arrived at the scene in response to the PCR call. His condition was noted, and a medical examination confirmed the severity of his injuries.
The police have registered an FIR under Section 308/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The investigation into the incident is currently underway, and the police are taking statements from the victim and witnesses to piece together the sequence of events.
