Man involved in 400 cases of auto-theft arrested

New Delhi: From the past nine years, 34-year-old Mohammad Imran has been involved in auto lifting cases but on March 6 his criminal record of 400 auto theft cases finally came to end after his arrest from East Delhi's Gazipur area. Police claimed that the accused need only 20 seconds to break the lock of the motorcycle.
The accused is the native of Meerut, UP and he has admitted to be involved in more than four hundred incidents of auto theft during the last nine years. According to the police, the arrest was made by Anti Auto Theft Squad of East Delhi. A trap was laid at Paper Market, Gazipur, and the accused was arrested.
"Accused Imran used to steal the motorcycle particularly from outside the banks and other commercial places," said a police officer.
He used to take only 20 seconds to unlock or break the lock of the motorcycle with the help of the master keys.
