Major transfers in Delhi Police

New Delhi: As many as 10 IPS and DANIPS officers will be holding new posts in Delhi Police. According to a recent order, 1996 batch IPS Shalini Singh, on transfer from Andaman and Nicobar Island, will be the new Joint Commissioner of Police (Western Range).

Vimal Anand Gupta (2001 batch IPS) is now Additional Commissioner of Police (headquarters). Dr Om Parkash Mishra, on transfer from Chandigarh, will be Additional CP EOW whereas 2004 batch IPS officer Mahender Nath Tiwari will be Additional CP (Operations).

The order further reads that Pushpender Kumar (IPS 2006) will be DCP traffic. Eish Singhal who was earlier Additional DCP, is now DCP New Delhi whereas Deepak Yadav will be Additional DCP 1 New Delhi district. "2012 batch IPS officer Jitendra Kumar, on transfer from Arunachal Pradesh, will be Additional DCP 1 (Rohini). Whereas Rohit Meena (IPS 2012) will be DCP traffic," order reads. Vikram Porwal who was DCP (Recruitment), is now DCP (metro).
