New Delhi: Adversity often brings out the best in a man. At a time when people across the nation remain hunkered down due to lockdown 2.0, some cops of Delhi police are coming out with innovative ways urging people to stay home.
No, they are not making announcements, they are, instead, using their talent of writing poetry to make people aware of the benefits of staying indoors during the Corona pandemic. Some of them have even written songs whilst some are using their creativity to educate people about the virus crises.
Suhaib Farooqui, SHO South Avenue is a talented poet and a renowned name in the world of Urdu poetry. Suhaib has written an Urdu poem trying to create awareness about the disease.
"Hai waqte inquilab, corona se jung hai, Muh par rakho nakaab, corona se jung hai Denge use jawab corona se jung hai Lena hai ab hisaab corona se jung hai Ghar baithiye janab, Corona se jung hai," Suhaib wrote telling people that this is the time of revolution against Corona urging people to stay at home .
Inspector Ram Manohar of Crime branch is also a talented poet and has been making inspirational videos amid the Corona crises.
"Hai sath hum sab to , ye waqt guzar jayega, Phir se choodi khankegi, phir sehra saj jayega. Phir bhangda sab payenge, phir mil ke sab gayenge," Manohar writes in a small video song.
Sub-inspector Rakesh Duan of crime branch has utilised his Hindi language skills to write poetry on the lockdown.
"Shahar soone, gaon soone, galiyan bhi veeran hain , sunsaan hain ,aj sab hairaan hain Ek bandhan chaaron oor hai kaisa ye mushkil daur hai," he writes telling the people how corona had an impact on the world and how it is important to stay safe at this hour of crises.
