New Delhi: University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) of IP University organised a day long workshop on women's online safety on Friday, saying that with increase in the use of technology, one should be very careful with its use.
The experts present stated that, "The proliferation of technologies in general and internet in particular has no doubt facilitated the society but we should be very careful for its uses."
They said that women and children are more vulnerable. "Due to its virtual format, people would fall pray to online frauds," they said.
The workshop was jointly organised by IAMAI - Facebook. A large number of women students and staff of the University actively participated in the workshop.
The experts from both the University and the partner organisation cited the pron areas of women's online safety and its precautions.
