Ghaziabad: Police have arrested a 30-year-old sales manager of a five-star hotel in Ghaziabad for allegedly molesting a 55-year-old German man, on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the accused has been identified as Pawan Joshi, who worked as the sales manager at Radisson Blu hotel located in Kaushambi area. The man is accused of molesting the German national by touching his private parts on May 1.
As per the complaint filed by the German national, the accused approached him in his room on the evening of May 1 and tried to touch him inappropriately near his private parts when he was getting ready for the gym.
"The accused came to my room and when I was getting ready for the gym, he came forward and touched my abdomen and later my private parts. I immediately made a call to the reception and complained about the incident," read the complaint.
"The man has been booked under section 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 294 (Obscene acts and songs) for touching the victim inappropriately inside the hotel room," said Akash Tomar, Superintendent of Police (city).
