New Delhi: Ahead of Independence day, security officials at IGI airport went into a tizzy after they received a hoax bomb call on Monday. Police said that they identified the caller.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGI) Sanjay Bhatia said that the call was received around 8.30 PM on Monday. Without wasting any time they reached the spot which was terminal 2 at IGI airport. "We traced the caller who claimed that he did not make any call related to bomb in an airport," said DCP IGI. He further stated that they conducted a search at the premises. The passengers were evacuated after which security agencies carried out the anti-sabotage check.
