Greater Noida: Aiming to provide major relief to the residents, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), on Wednesday, launched 24*7 public helpline centre which will enable them to get their grievance registered or access the information regarding the status of development works in their respective
area.
As per a senior GNIDA officer, initially four helpline numbers have been issued that will be active 24*7. The phone lines will be increased in future as per need, said officer.
"People can register their complaint on helpline numbers (0120-2336046/47/48/49). Once the complaint is registered, it will be automatically transferred to the concerned official within 48 hours through a CRM system. All the complaints will be directly monitored by authority CEO and ACEO while feedback from public and weekly meetings with authority officials will also be taken," said a GNIDA
officer.
Apart from this, the authority has also launched a mobile application 'Mitra' and a WhatsApp number 8800203912 for the convince of the residents.
"Using Mitra App residents would be able to register their complaints regarding citizen services, maintenance, sanitation, horticulture etc. Mitra App will provide a platform where residents can also upload photographs along with related documents," said Narendra Bhooshan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Greater Noida authority. Further detailing on the working of app, Bhooshan said that the app can be downloaded from play store while people can upload pictures and videos directly on the application from their mobile phones.
"If a pothole of uncovered sever in spotted by a person, he can directly upload the picture of video while the app will track the GPS location and notify the concerned official. Allottees can also pay their electricity and water bills through the application by entering their allotment number. Also the app provides a large dashboard where I can personally monitor details of all the pending complaints and the department or officer with highest number of complaints," added
