New Delhi: Five persons were injured in the fire in Nihal Vihar area of Outer Delhi on Thursday. Police claimed that there was no casualty in the incident.
According to Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the incident was reported around 5.26 AM on Thursday at Chander Vihar area in Nihal Vihar. "At the spot, we came to know that fire was reported from LPG cylinder which injured five persons identified as Raju, Ramu (50 per cent burn), Kamla (30 per cent burn), Payal (30 per cent burn) and Moni (30 per cent burn). They were rushed to the hospital," said DFS press statement.
DCP (Outer) Seju P Kuruvilla stated that the family was not able to detect cylinder leakage and in the morning the fire took place. There is the possibility that due to some spark. "There were minor injuries in the case. No casualty reported," said Seju P Kuruvilla.
