New Delhi: A 75-year-old man committed suicide by jumping in front of Metro train at Laxmi Nagar metro station on Tuesday. Police said he was suffering from depression for last 3 years as confirmed by his family members.
According to police, an information was received that an elderly man had jumped in front of a moving metro around 6.35 pm at Laxmi Nagar metro station platform number-1 (towards Yamuna Bank to Vaishali ). He was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. The deceased was later identified as Amrik Singh who lived in Laxmi Nagar area.
