DU admission: Admit cards for entrance exams available online

NEW DELHI: Students who have to appear in the entrance exams of various courses at Delhi University may now download their admit cards from the web portal (http://admission.du.ac.in). As per a notice on the official DU website on entrance exam admit cards "Admit Cards for exams scheduled on June 17 and 18 are available for download. For other exam dates, admit cards will be released shortly."

The varsity has also issued telephone numbers and created a Help desk to help students with their queries. The varsity had said that the students having any confusion could contact on 911-980-1912 , 911-980-1984, 911-980-1915, 911-980-1916. The university has also issued an email id DUET2018.CBOTEXAM@gmail.com.

Nearly 2,78,544 aspirants have made payments for various courses in Delhi university. According to DU, the first cut-off list for DU merit based admission process will be released on June 19, meanwhile, north-campus based St. Stephen's College has already released its first cut-off list earlir this week.

Meanwhile, the preliminary trials for admission to undergraduate seats reserved at Delhi University for those who excel in extra-curricular activities began on Thursday and would continue till July 5 in two phases that is preliminary and Finals. Both trails combined will take around 3 weeks to complete and would be held atleast at 13 venues in Delhi university colleges.

Under ECA quota aspirants are offered around 5% seats that are reserved in each subject of every DU college for admissions 2018. Apart from this, students applying for DU admission under ECA quota are offered relaxation in DU cutoffs to the tune of 15% in the total aggregate of the last cutoff. The trials for admission under the sports quota at Delhi University (DU) will kick-start on June 22 and will last till June 29. The sports trials will be conducted for 33 categories of games at 22 venues.
