Doctor who rammed car into three interns, arrested

A doctor has been arrested for ramming his car into three MBBS interns of Maulana Azad Medical College while they were having a walk inside the college premises.

The three women were rushed to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment. 

The three girls sustained severe injuries in the accident. 

The girls were out after participating in a function at the college. The incident was reported on April 9 at around 11:30 pm when the three MBBS interns were hit by the speeding car of the doctor who somehow lost control. The MBBS intern students have been identified as Geetanjali, Mamta and Kusum. 

Two of the injured girls have been discharged. "We have arrested the doctor involved in the accident. He has been identified as Doctor Varun. We are taking proper legal action." said DCP Central, Mandeep Singh Randhawa.
