New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will roll out an online Customer Satisfaction Survey from April 13 to May 10, as part of an international benchmarking exercise aimed at assessing commuter experience and improving services.
The survey is being conducted by the Transport Strategic Centre (TSC), London, which manages the COMET benchmarking group of metro systems worldwide. According to the official announcement, the initiative seeks to gather detailed feedback from passengers on various aspects of metro operations.
Officials said, “The primary aim of this survey is to know what the Metro commuters think about various aspects of Metro operations, including feedback and suggestions on improving the quality of service.” The exercise is part of a global effort where metro networks compare performance and adopt best practices.
Commuters can participate by visiting the official DMRC website and filling out the survey form, which will be available in both English and Hindi. The questionnaire covers key service parameters such as availability, accessibility, ease of use, information before and during travel, reliability, customer care, comfort, crowding, security and overall satisfaction. The survey will help DMRC benchmark services globally, understand commuter expectations and adopt best practices; officials urged wide participation to ensure comprehensive, representative feedback and improve service quality across the network.
