DJB CEO chandra transferred to ministry of Commerce

NEW DELHI: The most efficient bureaucrat and lieutenant of former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit , Keshav Chandra, 1995 batch officer, who was posted as Delhi Jal Board's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Delhi Pollution Control Committee, transferred to Ministry of Commerce as Joint Secretary.
This time, the appointments committee of the cabinet approved the appointments of officers at joint secretary. "Keshav Chandra as joint secretary , department of commerce from the date of assumption of the post, for a tenure of over all five years upto 31 March, 2021 or until further orders," stated in appointment letter.
It is pertinent to mentioned that 99 per cent bureaucrates who tirelessly worked during former CM Dikshit Parimal Rai, Jalaj Srivastava, Shakuntala Gamlin, Reena Rai, Rahul Khulad, Dharmender Kumar, SS Yadav etc have been shifted to various ministries in the Centre.
A couple of months ago, the tussle the AAP government and the bureaucracy, the former has hinted at a probe against Delhi Jal Board CEO Keshav Chandra for alleged financial irregularities.
The Delhi assembly's committee on public undertaking has already forwarded a complaint against him to the committee on privileges.
