Three who robbed Amazon delivery boys at gunpoint held

The sensational case of robbery where an Amazon delivery boy was robbed at gunpoint in Najafgarh has been solved by the Delhi Police on Friday with an arrest of three men.The incident reporetdly took place on May 28.

With this arrest of the three accused, Hemant, Sunil and Mohit, it came to light that these miscreants were involved in 14 other cases.

The accused used a new modus operandi in which they used to steal motorcycles and then used them for snatching mobile phones. 

These phones were then further used for registering products at online shopping site 'Amazon'. 

When the courier boys came to deliver the products to registered customer (accused) in a White Colour Eco car, they were robbed.

"The accused have CCTV cameras installed at their houses which are connected with their mobile phones to monitor the visitors in their house so that they could evade their arrest.

"They were involved in as many as 14 cases including gunpoint robbery, snatching, and theft," said DCP MN Tiwari.

During interrogation, the accused revealed to cops that they were very good friends and committed many such crimes of snatching, robbery, and theft.
