Two persons, accused of trading stolen gadgets, have been arrested after the police allegedly recovered around 250 such mobile phones among other electronic goods from their possession.
One of the accused Satender Pratap Singh (38) was arrested from his house in Chhattarpur Extension area by a special police team which was formed to curb incidents of missing gadgets, a senior official said.
249 stolen mobile phones, 15 mobile phone chargers, 19 laptops, 105 laptop chargers, 30 laptop bags, 9 iPads/Tablets and 24 mother boards of iPhones have been recovered, said Ishwar Singh, Deputy Commissioner (South). Satender led the police to another accused Chandan Makkar, a resident of Mukhtsar in Punjab, said the officer.
