Ghaziabad: An inspector with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), who is currently posted in Kashmir, was allegedly thrashed at builder's office by the goons hired by builder in Raj Nagar extension area of Ghaziabad on Friday. The inspector was thrashed when he had gone to builder's office to ask for the registry of his newly shifted flat.
The victim, Amit Kumar Sharma, a resident of MCC Signature Heights said that he had shifted to his house along with his family in the society on September 20, 2019.
"My vacations are going to get end by Diwali and I have to join back my duty at Anantnag in Kashmir. I had been asking the builder to get registry of my flat done before that but they have been giving me excuses," said Sharma.
"On Friday, when I went to builder's office located in the society to meet Aman Jain, managing director, I asked him to get registry of my flat done. He asked me to pay one year advance maintenance charge otherwise registry will not take place. I told them I will pay maintenance charge from the date when I came to live in the society. I also told them that I have already paid the stamp duty charges for the registry but he and around eight of his bouncers started thrashing me with sticks and kicked me several times," he added.
Meanwhile police have registered a case into the matter. "We are checking the cctv footage of the spot to trace the goons who thrashed CRPF inspector," said Umesh Bahadur Singh, SHO of Sihani Gate police station, Ghaziabad.
