New Delhi: A visually impaired man and his wife were found murdered in Delhi's Dwarka on Saturday evening. The PCR call to the police was made by the daughter of the couple after she returned at her home in Mohan Garden extension from office. Close inspection of the bodies confirmed multiple stab injuries. However, no ransacking of the house was seen which led Delhi police to suspect someone known could be behind the murder.

The deceased have been identified as 51-year-old Hari Ballabh and his wife Shanti Singh, aged 47 years. She was a housewife. They were originally from Bihar.

"There is friendly entry at the house. No ransack in the house. The PCR call was done at 7 pm by the daughter after she came home in the evening," said DCP Dwarka, Anto Alphonse. The couple is survived by their 22-year-old son and 27-year-old daughter.

The son was not present in the house. The police are analysing the call details of the victims and also questioning the neighbours if they have some clue of any suspect in the area at the time of murder.
