New Delhi: A mix of cloudy skies in the morning and sunshine later in the day made for pleasant
weather in the capital on Tuesday, with the maximum temperature settling at 35.1 degrees Celsius — 6.8 notches below normal.
The city is likely to remain under the ‘green zone’ in the coming days, indicating no extreme weather alerts, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity levels fluctuated between 89 and 85 per cent during the day, according to the IMD, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius — 2.7 notches below the average. The weather department has predicted thunderstorms with rain for the next several days.
