New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday said they recovered CCTV footage which captures the last moments of the family members, where they are seen taking stools and wire which was used for hanging inside the house where 11 persons were found dead in the north Delhi's Sant Nagar.

Investigators on Wednesday said they have found three main points from the CCTV footage, captured from a camera adjacent to the house of the deceased family.

"Around 10 pm on Saturday, deceased Neetu was seen with her another relative taking a stool inside the house which was later found near the spot. Two children were playing outside.

"One of them went to the furniture shop and bought a wire then went to the house which was later used for hanging and around 11 pm another relative went inside the house with the dog and no movement was seen afterwards," said the police officer.

He further said around 7 am on Sunday, one man with the turban was found entering the house who informed another person about the incident.

The family of the deceased has moved a complaint to Delhi Police alleging that the death of the 11 persons of the family was murder and not part of any spiritual practice.

The law enforcement agency will move the complaint to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police which is investigating the case.

The police have received the complaint on Monday from the relatives of the Bhatia family alleging that the 11 family members were killed.

"No one was named as the accused in the complaint. We have received it and told them that they have already registered a case under section 302 (murder) of Indian Penal Code," said Kumar adding that they will send the complaint to the Crime Branch.

The investigation in the case where 11 persons were found dead revealed that the family did not want to die but it was due to the superstitious practice which suddenly went wrong.

"During the investigation, it was found that Lalit (deceased) had delusion and he used to talk like his father who died several years ago and the members of the family used to write in the registers whatever he used to speak during the delusion period," the investigators told Millennium Post.

The investigator further claimed that during the practice they had a thought that they will be saved by Lalit who had some magical power and will not be hung but the theory went wrong and which led to the death.

The notes found in the house mentioned "being cautious" while performing the ritual. The police suspect that the family had ordered food from outside since the notes mentioned about not preparing food on the day of the ritual and are trying to find out from where they had ordered the food. The case is on from all angles including murder. The questioning is going on.
