BJP leaders take part in 'shramdaan' across Delhi

NEW DELHI: On the occasion of the 148th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Delhi BJP leaders took part in sanitation drives across the Capital to promote the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari and BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra joined locals and traders in a sanitation drive at Yamuna Vihar in north east Delhi. Tiwari and Patra together cleaned two toilet blocks in Yamuna Vihar's C-Block Market.
Delhi BJP in-charge Shyam Jaju spoke at a Sanitation Awareness Meet at Subhash Nagar and later took part in sanitation drive in the area.
Addressing workers, Jaju called upon the youth to adopt at least one block of their colony and do fortnightly 'shramdaan' to ensure proper sanitation.
BJP MLA Vijender Gupta also joined party workers in a sanitation drive in Sector-8, Rohini. Gupta called upon office bearers of local residential societies to give two hours every weekend for shramdaan.
