NEW DELHI: CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia inaugurated a new hostel block at Shaheed Sukhdev College Of Business Studies on Friday. Everyone should have a dream and should strive to achieve it. However, vapid dreams of just corporate success do not benefit the nation in the long-run.
The students should become entrepreneurs and job-creators rather than job-seekers, said CM Arvind Kejriwal on the occasion. The Delhi Chief Minister was addressing the students on the 32nd Foundation Day of the premier management college. He encouraged the students to work towards developing the nation and bringing India at par with the best in the world. He also inaugurated the college's in-campus hostel facility that can house 144 students.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia stressed that success needs a good foundation and academic capabilities are the surest foundation for it. "Our effort is to impart education to all and not merely to the privileged few. Inclusive education would lead to social upliftment," he said. He emphasized on the need for a strong and honest partnership between the academic and bureaucratic domains. These two arms should work in perfect tandem to staff the various academic governing bodies with the right people and enable them with efficient support to be able to deliver the gains for the benefit of the students and the nation as a whole.
