Assault on Chief Secy: CM's private secretary quizzed

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's private secretary Bibhav Kumar was questioned on Thursday by Delhi Police for three hours, in connection with the alleged assault on Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash in February.
Kumar arrived at 2 pm at a police station in north Delhi and was questioned for over three hours in the case of alleged assault on Prakash at Kejriwal's residence on the night of February 19, police said.
Kumar was present when the incident took place and sources said he might be called again for questioning.
Police said they will also be 'examining' Vivek Kumar, who is associated with the Aam Aadmi Party.
Two MLAs of AAP – Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal – had earlier been arrested in the case and later got bail.
On February 23, a police team examined the CCTV surveillance system installed at the Chief Minister's residence in Civil Lines area and seized the hard disk. The forensic report on the hard disk is still awaited.
The role of several MLAs in the case is under investigation, as they were present at the Chief Minister's residence when the alleged assault took place in February.
Police have already questioned the several MLAs who were present at the chief minister's residence for the meeting in which Prakash had allegedly been attacked.
The alleged assault on the Chief Secretary had triggered a bitter tussle between the Delhi government and its bureaucracy.
