NEW DELHI: Renu Tuli is a proud mother, she has every reason to be proud of her son who has brought laurels to the family. Eighteen-year-old Arnav Tuli has topped class 12th exams in Science stream in the national capital Delhi. He has scored 496 out of 500 in the board exams, the results of which were declared on Thursday. Arnav Tuli is a student of ITL Public School, Sector-9, Dwarka.
Both mother and father of Arnav Tuli are academicians, while the mother Renu Tuli is an Assistant Professor of mathematics, his father Rahul Tuli teaches exam aspirants at his own coaching institute.
The boy now aims to clear the JEE (Advanced) and get admission at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi to study computer engineering. In the future he sees himself designing video games.
Arnav also received the Achievers Award for 100% attendance for three consecutive years ( 2015-2018)in Standard IX,X and XI which reflects upon his consistency and self-discipline. He believes that attending school regularly is essential for the overall development of students. "We are so proud of the achievement of our son. As academicians, we gave our on the right atmosphere to study and excel. Even though I teach Maths myself but Arnav outclassed me at several occasions, I am so happy that his efforts had paid," grins Renu, Arnav's mother.
Asked how he managed time between sports and studies Arnav said "You need to balance time between studies and play. I love football and had managed time for both. I got my inspiration from my elder sister who too is a brilliant student and doing Msc. in Biotechnology from AIIMS. My parents and my school teachers together are my inspiration," Arnav Tuli said.
