NEW DELHI: After a whole day of door to door campaigning in the Chandni Chowk constituency on the afternoon of Thursday, the AAP presented a report card of Chandni Chowk MP and Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan. The party observed that despite promising full statehood in the last election he has not done anything on the issue. Slamming the environment minister, AAP Delhi convenor Gopal Rai said that Vardhan has not done anything on the issue of pollution despite the efforts of the Delhi government. The leader also talked about his performance in the last five years.

"In front of the Prime Minister he promised that Delhi will get full statehood but after that, he has done nothing. This is something people will never forget," said Rai.

On Thursday, AAP Chandni Chowk candidate Pankaj Gupta went door to door to meet the voters and talked about the

elections in Delhi. People in several areas complained about the roads and other issues as

the leader assured them of

their work.

Meanwhile, Delhi BJP Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta said that the Aam Aadami Party's promise during the Lok Sabha election campaigning of providing affordable housing to every family in Delhi within 10 years is absolutely hollow. Its falsehood can be gauged from the fact that he has come to power more than four years ago on the promise of providing a house to each J.J. Cluster family, and yet it failed to construct even a single house for them.

"Not only this, it failed to allocate about 18,000 built-up flats to J.J. Cluster families. Thousands of poor families deposited huge amounts beyond their means by borrowing from moneylenders in the hope of getting their own house. But today, they find themselves entangled in a web of moneylenders. Such a political party which could neither build flats for poor people nor allocate the built-up flats for J.J.dwellers cannot be expected to meet its promise of providing a house for everyone," said Gupta.
