Some of the issues that are being raised by the party towards the development of the city include ensuring better sanitation and cleanliness, replenishing the groundwater table and improving the erratic power supply. The party has also raised their concerns about the deteriorating law and order in the city.

Starting from India Against corruption days to Lok Sabha elections, the party has been on the constant drive to increase its members in the city. The party has inducted tall leaders like Mahesh Yadav in its fold. Like Delhi, AAP is now seeking support from the auto drivers to form its base. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal who in past had held a rally in the city specially mentioned the concerns of the auto drivers and said that they will try to resolve it once they come to power.

Kejriwal also did not shy in directing the AAP workers to prevent the destruction of homes at Sheelta colony.

Being in the vicinity of Airforce ammunition depot as per the High Court directions, there should be no settlement within 900 metres. This has led to various houses and shops in the Sheetla colony being sealed, a situation that has not gone well with thousands of residents residing in the area.
