Ghaziabad: An 88-year-old woman accidentally fell to her death from a window of an 11th floor flat in Ashiana Upvan society in Indirapuram on Monday morning.
According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Devki Devi whose body was found near tower 2 of the society in a pool of blood by society residents who were out for a morning walk. Her son Pooran Mehra, daughter-in-law, grandson and grandaughter-in-law were present in the at the time of the incident.
Police said that the family stated that the deceased was senile and had shown many symptoms including forgetfulness, confusion among others. She was also undergoing treatment for her illness. The police are considering it as a case of accident.
