36 private unregistered bouncers arrested in Noida, Greater Noida

G B Nagar: Gautam Buddh Nagar police, on Monday night, arrested 36 private unregistered bouncers who were deployed at various residential societies in Noida and Greater Noida. Cops said that three private security agencies have been booked for deploying these guards and violating the norms of Private Security Agency Regulation Act (PSAR).

The latest crackdown was over the security agencies at various residential societies and police named the drive as "Operation Clean 15".

Vaibhav Krishna, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Gautam Buddh Nagar said that the special drive was conducted on Monday evening between 7 to 11pm.

"The drive was conducted in nearly 215 societies across the district where cops checked the licenses of security guards and bouncers deployed in these societies. Police found nearly 36 private bouncers, who were deployed at 18 residential complexes, not adhering to the guidelines of PSAR act. They were brought to police station and were later released after directions were given to them to wear a proper uniform and follow the guidelines," said Krishna.

The officer further said that police have booked three security agencies for deploying these unregistered security guards at the residential societies.

"Following the inspection, police have registered separate FIRs against three security agencies at Phase-II and Surajpur police station. As of now we have arrested one of their employers while three others are absconding," added Krishna.

Police said that among the security agencies that were booked include Exman

security agency at Swarnim Vihar society in sector 82 of Noida, golden metro and facility security agency in sector 92 and AVJ heights security agency in sector Zeta-1 of Greater Noida.

A senior police officer said that the drive was carried out after several complaints were received about the hooliganism of the security guards from the residents of various societies.
