3 juveniles apprehended for murder

New Delhi: With the apprehension of three juveniles, Delhi Police claimed to have solved the murder case of 23-year-old man in Ranjit Nagar area of Central Delhi. According to police on the intervening night of February 18/19, a PCR call regarding a person being stabbed in Pandav Nagar was received.
The police team reached the spot where the father of the injured was already present. He stated that three boys have pierced the body of his son with a knife leaving him into a pool of blood and all the delinquents have escaped from the spot on a White Scooty. The injured was rushed to the nearest hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (central) Mandeep Singh Randhawa stated that two of the culprits involved in the commission of the crime were apprehended from Shadipur Metro Station. At their instance, the third accused was apprehended from Kirti Nagar Railway Station.
DCP claimed that It was revealed that the bone of contention for committing such a barbaric crime was to establish supremacy in the area. On the day of the incident, a heated quarrel had taken place between the victim Varun and the assailants outside of a wedding function.
