3 interstate gangs of drug traffickers busted, 2.5 kg heroin seized

NEW DELHI: The Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch of Delhi police has busted three interstate gangs of drug traffickers involved in the supply of heroin in Delhi. They have also arrested four notorious drug traffickers. They have been identified as Ajay (32), Suresh Kumar (30), Mohammad Islamuddin (31) and Ali Hanif in three different cases of NDPS Act.
Ajay was arrested from Sultanpuri and one kg heroin was recovered from his possession. During interrogation, it was revealed that the entire family of the accused, including his father Surinder, uncle Sunil brother Rajinder and one Meenakshi were involved in the illegal trade of drugs. Interrogation further revealed that these people have acquired huge property in the last few years. Efforts are being made to arrest the source Bhola of UP and other associates of the accused.
In the 2nd case of NDPS Act, Crime Branch on a secret information arrested Suresh Kumar, 30 years, from Sultanpuri, Delhi, and recovered one Kg of heroin from his possession.
In another case, Islamuddin was arrested from Tamoor Nagar, Delhi, and 300 gm of heroin was recovered from his possession. During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he had procured the contraband from one Ali Hanif. Accordingly, on the instance of the accused Islamuddin, the main supplier was arrested and 200 gram of heroin was recovered from his possession.
