New Delhi: Two women missing from 19 September were found dead in Alipur area of Rohini district. Police claimed that they are investigating the case from all angles, including murder, and waiting for the post mortem report to get clues in the case. The investigating agency claims that the husband of one of the deceased women is missing and a case under the section of murder has been registered. The deceased are sisters and one of them was married and lived in Paschim Vihar area while the other girl lived in North-East Delhi's Seelampur area.
Reports were coming that the women went out in search of a job which is being investigated by police. "The last hour call details are been scanned to get clues in the case," said police sources.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-East) Atul Thakur told Millennium Post that they immediately registered a missing persons' case as soon as the deceased family visited the police station on September 21. "A search was made by a police team and later the bodies were recovered from Alipur area on Monday and the family were called for the identification of the two deceased," said the DCP. The bodies were recovered from a drain.
